Verneuer Natural Wooden Toys is a small wooden toy manufacturer located in a small region in Germany where the importance of nature is still highly respected. The idea to hand make these natural wooden toys was born in 1988 by a man named Norbert Verneuer who was inspired by nature and it’s rounded and curved forms.

When planning and manufacturing his wooden toys, Verneuer attached great importance to not only it’s shape but also to it’s safety and play value. The wood is treated exclusively with natural oils and waxes so the natural structure of the wood remains tactile and he sources his woods from regional trees such as Alder, Beech or Pine.
